In academic years 2009/2010 and 2010/2011, a total of 23 needy undergraduate students from Mauritius and Rodrigues have benefited from a scholarship scheme started by MDFP in collaboration with the University of Mauritius.
Four schools situated in the vincinity of the Airport and falling within pockets of poverty were chosen to carry out this project:
Sponsoring of awareness campaigns mainly in the South by the NGO, Link to Life.
The objective of the Educational Development Youth Consultancy Services (EDYCS) is to improve epilepsy care services and to promote a better quality of life in patients with epilepsy.
MDFP supports the Trust Fund for Excellence in Sports in providing all the help required to allow athletes coming from a poor background to train and study at the same time.
